About the Poplar Point Association

Own and maintain our playground and little beach, and pay annual town taxes on the playground.

Organize community activities like our beach cocktail parties, hayrides, history walks, and the annual holiday party.

Communicate with the town on issues like road maintenance, signage, and safety. 

The Poplar Point Association is a non-profit corporation formed for the purposes of encouraging and promoting community, social, and athletic activities for the general welfare of the residents of Poplar Point, and for maintaining and improving community common spaces, facilities, and rights of way.  

Membership is voluntary and open to all Poplar Point property owners and lessees, and to property owners on Beach Street east of Route 1A. 

The Poplar Point Association was first established in 1935-1939, then re-established in 1948. We have been working for the betterment of our community for more than 75 years.
